LCM in San Ysidro collaborates with Casa Familiar, a nonprofit community service agency, located one mile from the U.S.-Mexico border. Taking place in the center’s computer lab and using CASA computers, primarily Latino children and their parents participate in the activities designed specifically for bilingual learners.
Hubs of Innovation, Beginning Fall 2009
Casa Familiar Community Center will host the Financial Literacy hub of the new Hubs of Innovation project.
