“We must not, in trying to think about how we can make a big difference, ignore the small daily differences we can make which, over time, add up to big differences that we often cannot forsee.”
-Marian Wright Edelman

HUBS OF INNOVATION

CASA believes in the importance of continually setting new goals and redefining our priorities. This continued pursuit is what led us to the development of our newest program, launching in the fall of 2009, Hubs of Innovation (HOI): a 21st Century Skills Project, a curriculum dedicated to the development of five critically important 21st Century Skills: Language & Culture, Digital Literacy, Financial Literacy, Health & Nutrition, and Environmental Protection.

Program participants will not only learn about these areas of emphases but will also learn to create multimedia projects such as wikis and blogs pertaining to these skills that they will upload and share on the HOI Online Community Networking site effectively broadening our program’s reach and providing participants with the opportunity to engage in lively discussion and debate regarding these real-life skills.
