Project Scope: Located at the Casa Familiar Community Center in San Ysidro, CA minutes from the US/Mexico border, this hub will combat the staggeringly dire financial statistics facing many low-income children of color and attempt to reverse current cultural biases or distrusts of transactions with mainstream financial institutions such as the acquisition of educational loans, biases especially troublesome in a border town such as San Ysidro.
